Spirituality: A Definition Of Enlightenment

Author: Nick Arrizza, M.D.

Many who have undertaken a spiritual path seek what they consider some form of "enlightenment". This term however has many definitions.

In my work with a new modality called the Mind Resonance Process(TM) (MRP) I have helped individuals achieve a state that many have termed "enlightenment". Interestingly it is not what many would "think of" as enlightenment.

This state consists of the following:

Feelings of: lightness, buoyancy, inner strength, immense self confidence, immense self esteem, groundedness, fully present in ones body, health, resilience, inner knowing, radiance, joy, love, happiness, inner peace, a deep awareness of ones truth, expansiveness, youthfulness, empowerment, and enhanced vital energy to name a few.

What is interesting about this state is that it is associated with the individual essentially re-integrating all of their "spiritual" energy back into their mind/body. This is contrary to what many spiritual teachings suggest is the path to enlightenment.

The general doctrine in most spiritual teachings suggest that the mind/body is actually an impediment to one's enlightenment and need to be jettisoned i.e. through death for instance.

This has not been my experience with MRP. I put this information forth here as a reminder to those who are on their spiritual journey that perhaps there is another way to enlightenment that preserves and honors the importance and integrity of the mind/body in this journey.

How does that feel to you?

If it resonates then perhaps you already have an experience of enlightenment as I outlined above?

If you wish to know more please read my many other articles in this ezine on MRP.
